The UPPSC Notification mentions 173 UP PCS vacancies for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services and Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer Services Examination for year 2023. The UPPSC PCS main exam will be held without the optional subject for the first time this time. Following the State Government's consent, the Commission modified the UPPSC 2023 main exam pattern, which was then announced in an official notification. The Commission changed the UPPSC PCS main exam pattern and added General Studies "Fifth and Sixth Paper in the UPPSC main exam 2023 instead of the optional subject. The mark assigned to each of these new General Studies papers is 200. The 2023 UPPSC PCS preliminary exam was conducted on 14th May 2023 & results were released. & made available online by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission via its official website. Only 3,45,022 of the 5,65,459 applicants who applied to take the UPPSC PCS 2023 exam actually showed up, according to the Commission's official result notice. 4,047 candidates cleared prelims & became eligible for UPPCS main exam, which will be conducted offline in pen and paper format during the final week of September.
