@wghost13 years ago All the best wishes indeed ali and the remarkable thing about it is it' s made in uae that itself is beyond reaching planet mars, i do agree with everything (humanity and the outerspace)
when neil armstrong first stepped a foot on the moon he said " this is just a small step for humanity" predicting the scientific and the technological future of humanity which was so true regardless of the fact that science still couldn' t explain or find the answers to many things which is beyond the capabilities of any human brain, but in this article i' m going to focus on the growing population and space technology.
there' s no doubt that space technology can be a fundamental aspect and very helpful to improve living standards in so many ways but is a human space colony the right salvation to the problematic issues mankind is facing on earth?
logically and realistically speaking i don' t think it is, i can understand gaining materialistic benefits from other planets like discovering rare natural elements but to actually colonize another planet and start a new human civilization on it is just one big arrogant delusion and it' s not going to happen no matter what technologicalhumans can achieve, and that is for the same exact puzzles science couldn' t solve and for the more questions humans couldn' t ask because it' s simply beyond human comprehension as a natural result of the limited capabilities of the human brain as i' ve mentioned earlier.
therefore human knowledge shall always remain incomplete for eternity and there' s no breaking through it no matter how hard we try because the ' nature of things' do exist as we all know it' s undeniable, and it has absolutely nothing to do with optimism nor pessimism yet human minds are intelligent enough to figure that out for itself.
so what are the realistic practical solutions to the threats facing humanity as an outcome of the growing human population around the world?
some fear that a growing human population could cause lack of natural resources such as water, food and energy and to resolve this equation some suggested the following solutions - clean energy to contain climate change,
birth control to contain increasing birth rates, desalination to contain water shortages, agricultural development to provide enough amounts of various kinds of foods and finally recycling to reduce natural material consumption and prevent pollution. These are all good helpful solutions indeed and the positive results shall be remarkable if we combine them all together, on the other hand i totally disagree with those who claims that depopulation is a perfect solution, as a matter of fact i strongly despise this evilness.
frankly speaking i don' t think that a growing population should be among the biggest problems as i see construction and infrastructure a big part of the solution because 90% of the world' s population are congested in certain areas such as big capital cities and it' s suburbans, therefore wouldn' it make more sense to invest all the fortune spent on occupying other planets right here on earth knowing that the unoccupied land can shelter more than triple the world' s population with ease?
we can definitely use advanced technology and all these righteous solutions to improve life on earth without the need of migrating to planet mars. So is it arrogance or lack of wisdom that motives embracing the concept of another planet for humanity? Its hard for me to tell! But it' s always good to know our limits

@kaymoi69043 years ago How can you question a womans age and the cost of her abaya; while using your index finger to point out that you are superior?
