Ponnanganni keerai Rasam (without rasam powder) Ingredients: - Ponnanganni keerai - 50gm - Onion shallot - small 01 No - Tomato - 01 No - Curry leaves - Coriander leaves - Garlic - 03 cloves - Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp - Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp - Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp - Fenugreek seeds - for flavour - Pepper corns - 1/4 tsp - Dry red chilli - 01 No - Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp - Hing - a pinch - Cooked Toor dhal water - 1 glass - Oil - 02 tsp - Salt - to taste - Water - 01 glass Recipe: 1. Add tomatoes, garlic cloves, cumin seeds (1/4 tsp), pepper corns, coriander seeds and curry leaves to mixer grinder. Grind it into fine paste 2. Pre heat kadai and add oil. Add mustard seeds. 3. Once popped add cumin seeds (1/4 tsp), coriander seeds (1/4 tsp), fenugreek seeds,pinch of hing, curry leaves, shallots and garlics saute for few mins 4. Add the grinded paste. Cup of cooked toor dhal water and a glass of water 5. Add turmeric powder and ponnanganni keerai to it 6. Leave until boil and the greens are cooked 7.
