How to make a long table design in homemade cardboard container. Ingredients - cardboard tube, orchid tubes, zebra grass, dahlias, periwinkle stems and touch of trailing hop In this our follow-up video to creating a cardboard tube base, we add some flowers and foliage to our container. Now this has a lot of possibilities, but we just wanted to keep it simple. So, we haven’t painted it or changed it - keeping it as it was. But you could spray it in a specific colour if you wished, or added other detail or texture. But it’s fun seeing what it actually is! It doesn’t necessarily need to be changed - though it would depend on the final place it will sit in. Adding lines of grass and foliage create the base for the dahlias but keep the design open and transparent. We would love to see your creation.
