Anand Vardhan Singh talks about the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib and questions being raised on his sudden and first visit in 6 years. Narendra Modi after becoming Prime Minister, never visited a Gurudwara in Delhi, but as the Farmers’ Protests have spread out across the country and being led by mainly Sikh Community in Punjab, Modi’s visit is being linked with it.
He also talks about Modi’s efforts to please sikh community by sending 1.9 Crore emails through IRCTC expressing his love and affection with Sikhs. But as the Farmer Agitation widens and intensifies, questions are being asked whether this sudden visit was due his real devoutness or just a sham to subside the anger erupted among Sikhs.
