@Pulsonar7 years agoThe Syd Barrett PF were so mind-bendlingly warped and boundless in expression, its possible to get high as a kite by just listening! See Emily Play is quite literally a masterpiece of a song. 116

@suchapill30774 years agoThe interview afterr Astronomy Domine is the best I've seen of Syd being coherent, smiling and laughing. Great. Where is the rest of it. Syd at the American Bandstand gig is so disturbing. Dick Clark is trying to avoid him like an elephant in the room but Syd is the leader and the main songwriter and he is all but totaled. Heartbreaking. ...9

@emmanuelskywalkers92727 years agoHi! HD Pink Floyd. How are you? I like Pink Floyd Psychedelic Rock days. I grown- up listen to Pink Floyd. I didn't learn how to play on my electric guitars See Emily Play or Apples and Oranges or Arnold Lane or Jugband Blues or Pow R. Toc H. I learn how to play on my electric guitars Astronomy Domine & little bit Lucifer Sam. I like to learn more early Pink Floyd songs. I almost got all Pink Floyd albums. ...2

@budahbaba78565 years agoYou can only make one album from this brand of madness. Yet we are so blessed to have it. But i will always wish we could have kept Syd instead. In the long haul drugs don't help art, they destroy it! Syd could have released that magic without any drugs, and flourished in his art permanently. ...10

@calliopivogiatzis22352 months agoYears ago,I heard an early and rare floyd song. It was sung by Rick or Roger and was about 6 minutes long. It had a baroque style pipe organ, upbeat melody, like a piece from Bach, psychedelic middle 8 guitar solo, was a"young love" theme song, perhaps in the key of Am,and had snippets of lyrics such as;"PICTURES IN TIME NOW THAT MOMENTS ARE ALIVE?","AS WE DANCE" ","STILL WE DANCE". If you think you know this song, please, text me the title, thanks! ...
