If you’re a fan of Tim Burton this cosplay mashup is for you. This artist creates a mashup of Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas and Emily from Corpse Bride. Using a few Mehron products you can follow these steps for a fun take on these popular Halloween characters. Using White Paradise Makeup AQ draw a line to separate the two characters and map out any areas to be filled in to create the clothing. To create the Emily side of the look begin by coloring in the exposed skin areas that match the characters skin tone using Light Blue. Top with Creamblend stick in White to highlight areas. Contouring areas to create depth can be made easy once paints are dry using iNtense Pressed Pigments and dusting over the paint. Outline the areas where you want to create the clothing and fill in adding highlights and shading to create texture. Add embellishments and sparkle using Precious Gems in Sapphire. Moving over to the Sally side of the look use Paradise Makeup AQ in Teal to paint the characters skin tone. Then using Purple and Orange create the characters dress using Black to draw on the pattern of the garment. Shade and create depth using iNtense Pressed Pigments in Red Earth. To create the iconic stitching of the character begin drawing black lines and then shade around the lines using Hurricane Blue iNtense Pressed Pigments. Draw small black lines in criss cross patterns and straight lines to create the stitches. Moving onto the face, draw two white circles around each eye and fill in completely. Use the same Teal Paradise Makeup AQ to color in one half of the face and Light Blue for the other. Contour alone the cheekbone, jawline, down the nose and around hairline using Hurricane Blue iNtense Pressed Pigments. Highlight areas of the face like brows, upper cheekbones and bridge of nose using White Creamblend. Outline White circles around each eye in Black and shade around the eye using Hurricane Blue. Draw in tiny black triangles directly above each nostril and a thin black line above the eye for the eyebrow. Fill in lips with liner and a pink shade of matte lip color. Add stitches to the Sally side of the character along the cheek and on forehead using the same technique as used for the body. Define the line between the two characters using Black Paradise Makeup AQ. Add in further detail to body by outlining the shape of bones onto the upper arm on the Emily side. Fill in with White Paradise and fill in around the bone in all Black. Add some accessories like false lashes, wig and flowers for the hair!
