A quick review on Flex Cut carving tools, and the reason I love them.

In this video I give a very brief rundown of why I love the shape and style of the Flex Cut tools palm set, compared to a popular Swiss Made brand (Pheil). The Flexcut tools have a nice wide piece of metal in the spot where your finger rests and that makes it much more comfortable for carving. While I love my tiny v gouge from Pheil it tends to hurt my finger during a long carving session and I’ve had to wrap tape around the shaft of the gouge in order to create a cushion.
