Aloo - 2 Medium
Batani/Peas - 1 Cup
Tomato - 2 Medium
Garlic - 2
Ginger - 1 Inch
Green Chili - 2
Ghee - 2 Tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Finely Chopped Onion - 1 Medium Size
Red Chili Powder - 1 Tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Salt to taste
Water - 1 Cup
Kasuri Methi - 1 Tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 Tsp
PREPARATION
STEP 1
- First heat the water to boil in a sauce pan and add 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder and add Diced Potatoes. Cook for 12 mins.
- Drain the water.
STEP 2
- Grind 2 medium Chopped Tomatoes, 2 Garlic, 1 Inch Ginger and 2 Green Chilies into smooth paste.
STEP 3
- To a heated pan, add 2 Tbsp Ghee, add 1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds, mix it well.
- Next add Finely Chopped Onion and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder, mix it well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Next add Ground Tomato purée, mix it well and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add 1 Cup Batani or peas, mix it well and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add 1 Tbsp Red Chili Powder, add 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder, Salt to taste, mix it well and cook for 1 minute.
- Add 1 Cup water and Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add Boiled Potatoes, mix and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add 1 Tsp Kasuri Methi and 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala and cook for another 2 Minutes.
- Now Aloo Mutter Curry Is ready to serve.
