Chubby Oates (Miss Nurse Knight), Jackie Pallo (Royal Tax Collector) and Michael Brydon (Lord Chamberlain) in Panto in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Marlowe Theatre Canterbury during 1986-87. This old chestnut of a sketch.The kids adore it ... I can remember as a little girl that this sketch always came home with us and my sister (Julia) and I would relentlessly chase my Dad (Chubby) around the room screaming "It´s behind you!" until we were hoarse whilst Dad diligently searched for the ghost! Poor thing, he was probably sick of the sight of performing this spot! Aah, great days and fond memories. Also in the cast of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs during this panto season were Julie-Anne Hunter and Jess Conrad playing Snow White and the Handsome Prince, Tommy Osborne as the evil Queen Grizelda, Nick George as the Herald and Rachel Scot as the Good Fairy. The Dallasbridge Dancers accompanied. , Dwarfs were played by Anthony Georghiou, Pat Mullins, David Peppitt, Mark Lisle, Andrew Herd, Melanie Dixon and Mark Northover. This panto was a David A Lee production. Incidentally there was an 8th dwarf involved with this show. Rusty Goffe worked alongside David Lee to produce the show!
