I eat a vegan, whole food plant based diet with my meals centered around high starch, and low fat and following the general ideas of Dr. John McDougall and his book, The Starch Solution. ✨ Recipes in the video -
Chocolate, Apple Oats:
3/4 cups of rolled oats
3/4 cup of water - boil in a pan until thick.
Add 1 tbsp unsweet cocoa powder
Put in bowl, Add chopped apples
Pour banana milk on top (1/2 or 1 banana and plant milk blended)
Potatoes -
2 - 3 small Yukon Gold Potatoes
Soften the potatoes and open the up - I like to smoosh them a bit
Broil for 5 minutes
Add a little salt, garlic powder and nutritional yeast
Taco Pizza
Whole Wheat Pizza Crust
Sky Valley Taco Sauce
Black Beans
Corn
Bell Peppers
Put everything on the pizza and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until crispy.

I love sharing these what I eat in a day videos with you because I feel like it gives you a better insight as to how someone who is on a vegan weight loss journey eats to achieve their goals. Eating a whole food plant based diet is an amazing and healthy way to eat, but sometimes weight loss is still hard to achieve. That's why I decided to follow the general guidelines of Dr. McDougall's The Starch Solution, which is a higher starch, high carb, low fat vegan plant based diet, allowing one to fill their stomach with food, stay satisfied until their next meal.
