General Leif pit stop 2 with fuel, 6/27/21 LDRL Sunday 4hr sprint-duro

Well, after leading ever since the first round of 1hr pit stops, we really killed that perfect opportunity today. We put about 29g worth of fuel in the car and know that it usually uses about 28g in a 4hr period. Sadly, we ran out of gas with 8 minutes to go and didn’t make it into the pits for a jug and go. We should’ve added more fuel at the fueling pit stop to make it safe but we’ll blame the stupid decision to keep running “light” on the heat. Maybe the heat had something to do with the disappearing fuel, too? Everything was going too well to be true!. In any case, it was a great weekend, even with the heat, and we drove it on the trailer. We also won more stuff in the raffle, including an alignment at AR Motorsports and cash off a fuel cell (bladder? 🤞🏼) from Pyrotect Safety Gear! Both which are well needed!!
