By infusing letfover curry into the egg and quickly cooking it over high heat, they have made this dish which looks like an omelette with curry in the heart – Mutta Kalakki. By using different gravy – veg kurma, mutton or chicken gravy or even a makkani gravy – you can customise your mutta kalakki. Here is the recipe: Ingredients: 2 Eggs 1 Small onion, finely chopped 1 Green chilli, finely chopped A pinch of salt and pepper 25 ml of any gravy or curry Oil for cooking Fresh Coriander leaves for garnish Method: Into the egg, add all the ingredients including the curry and mix well. Heat a non-stick pan with a tea spoon of oil. When the oil is hot, add the egg mixture into the pan. Keep folding the edges of the omelette into the centre till the edges becomes solid. Your Mutta Kalakki is ready! Serve it with a salad or bread slices with butter.
