London protest in support of Floyd demos in US

(7 Jun 2020) A protester was handcuffed and detained during protests outside Downing Street in London on Sunday, as demonstrations continued in the capital to support the Black Lives Matter movement. Demonstrations also took place outside the US Embassy beside the river Thames, and across the country in Bristol. People have been protesting in cities around the world since the death of George Floyd last Monday. Floyd died after a white Minneapolis police officer put his knee on the black man's neck for nearly nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying face-down on the ground.
