The perfect alternative to the usual bread!
INGREDIENTS
150ml (1/2 cup) milk
150ml (1/2 cup) water
7g dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
600g (5 cups) flour
1 tsp salt
2 egg yolk
Black and white sesame seeds
METHOD
In a bowl mix together warm milk, water, sugar and yeast. Add in flour and salt. Let the dough rest for about 2 hours.
Divide the dough into 2 portions and roll them out.
Transfer to the baking pan, cover it and let it rest for another 15 minutes. Smear with egg yolks and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake at 180 ‘ C( 350’F) for 35 minutes.
